Whilst we have made LoRaWAN as one of our core technologies due to its unique attributes of long range, low powered, and low cost, we do not just limit ourselves to this technology. We often evaluate against other short and long range communications systems such as Wifi, BLE, Xbee, GPRS, etc. in order to provide an optimised solutions to our clients.
Communication protocols
Through various communication protocols such as LoRaWAN (class A/C), DNP3, Modbus protocols, farmers now can also have the ability to action automated decisions through mySprout portal, our proprietary cloud platform. For example, irrigation systems can be automated to spray based on soil moisture data of a particular area.
